Siemens S7-200 communication using MPI adapter

Go to PG/PC interface ..Select PC adapter PPI ,and click ok..Then click search..Siemens CPU connected with the PC will now automatically get detected. The CPU address and CPU model will be automatically updated,once communication is done..
You may ask why you are selecting PPI option,while using MPI adapter.But you follow what I have said..,you will get surprised ;)
